Ahhhhh!! School is back in session…the state fair was fun and now we are preparing for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta which will begin this weekend…there is a spirit in the air while the fiesta is happening…as well as lots of big beautiful balloons!!! Colors galore!! Enough cannot be said for the delight in the hearts and minds of both young and old as they gaze skyward taking in the hundreds of balloons from different countries and all of their activities during the week of the hot air balloon festival! If you haven’t visited here during this time, you must make plans to do so in the near future…the first week of October is the time…
…there are lots of opportunities for fun at this time of year…be sure to stop by the Galeria de Corrales while out and about and enjoying our wonderful Mexican cuisine!! The Galeria is located in Corrales, about 2 blocks south of the Post Office on the corner of Coronado RD and Corrales Rd….just around the corner from Quilts Ole’! We hope to see you!!
